Square Phillips

1 Square Phillips is one of the most prominent residential projects in downtown Montreal. With its 61-floors in the heart of a historic block, the tower contributes to redefining downtown living, revitalizing the area and its businesses, and driving the development of Sainte-Catherine Street. To help navigate this complex, Visual Home developed a signage program that reflects the identity of 1 Square Phillips: thoughtful and refined. The directional and identification plaques for common areas adopt the hexagonal shape of the 1 Square Phillips logo, using subdued colors. A set of icons was created to visually represent the functions of various services and facilities on-site. As for the unit numbering, it consists of black characters set on a line, all cut from a single piece, offering discreet yet effective identification. Our team also created several murals in the tower’s common areas. From an operational standpoint, our strength lay in managing the production and installation of a large and diverse number of items, ensuring perfect coordination with the client’s various delivery phases to guarantee on-time completion and optimal quality at every stage.
